Are RedNote and Xiaohongshu the same platform?

Yes. RedNote is the English name used for Xiaohongshu (小红书). Petalark accepts the platform’s xhslink short links and public note links.

Can I download videos without a watermark?

Petalark lists the media addresses exposed by the public page. A file may include a watermark. We do not remove watermarks or promise a watermark-free or 4K version.

Why can’t a public note be loaded?

The platform may require sign-in or restrict access even when a note opens in your app. Copy a fresh share link including its parameters. If it still needs sign-in, Petalark cannot retrieve it.

Can I save a whole photo carousel?

You can open each photo or select photos and copy their links together. Photos keep the author’s original order. Petalark does not rehost files or create a server-side ZIP.

Does this work on my phone?

The site adapts to mobile browsers. Open the original file and use the browser’s save or share menu. Saving behavior varies by browser and platform; opening a link alone does not mean the file has been saved.

Do the creator tools upload my drafts or photos?

No. Caption formatting and cover cropping happen locally in your browser. They work independently of note parsing, and you can export the result without an account.
